The Breaking Bad star recreated the role of Jack Torrance perfectly in the Super Bowl commercial, adding a touch of humor to the iconic scenes that have given us nightmares over the years.
As a horror fan, 'The Shining' scared the living daylights out of me when I saw it for the first time. Often touted as one of the best horror movies of all time, and rightly so, 'The Shining' was nothing short of a horror masterpiece. Imagine Stanley Kubrick directing a film that was written by Stephen King -- it doesn't get any better than this. And it's not just us, pretty much all horror buffs -- old school, new-gen-- everybody loved the classic!

And now if you miss hearing the iconic “Heeeere’s Johnny” catchphrase, there's a new version out now. No, we are not talking about a sequel or reboot but instead, a commercial. It's a Mountain Dew Zero's Super Bowl ad with Bryan Cranston recreating some of the most iconic scenes from the classic.
The hilarious video was shared by Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross on her Instagram account and people absolutely loved it.
Bryan Cranston recreates the role of Jack Torrance perfectly in the ad, adding a touch of humor to scenes that have given us nightmares. The commercial also shows Cranston chasing Wendy Torrence up the stairs and recreating the axe to the door scene. However, here's the twist. He doesn't pursue Wendy but instead hands her a cold zero-calorie Mtn Dew Zero.

"DEW launched a Zero Sugar product for the first time ever this January and we're using our Super Bowl spot to tell fans it's 'As Good As the Original, Maybe Even Better.' We partnered with two major Hollywood actors to help us tell that story on one of the world's biggest stages," Erin Chin, Senior Director of Marketing at Mountain Dew, said in a press release. "We hope fans will enjoy the unexpected humor and fantastic casting. Tracee and Bryan had incredible chemistry and the energy on set was dynamic."
Many Twitter users have commented on the video and are calling it the best and most disturbing advertisement of the year. A social media user said, "Congratulations to Mountain Dew on making the most disturbing commercial for anything I have seen in a very long time."
