The new collection of mixers will be available in smoky, spicy, herbal, and woody flavors. The mixers are best paired with dark spirits, especially whiskey.
As reported by INSIDER, Coca-Cola just launched a new collection of chasers that are said to be perfect for dark spirits. Most drinks are anyway combined with your choice of coca-cola. So why not be introduced to four new flavors that are specifically manufactured to be used as mixers. The four flavors that are part of the new collection are smoky, spicy, herbal, and woody. Sure, it doesn't sound like something you'd want to try as it is but that's the whole point. It isn't meant to be consumed separately (unless you want to, then you can go ahead. It's your choice). Whiskey fans should be excited more than anybody else since the mixers are said to go better with whiskey than any other spirit. So, it's time to hit the bar and drink up, huh?
Agreed all of the flavors might not taste as good with just whiskey. So coca-cola has made four different flavors and each one of them is said to go best with a particular dark spirit. In today's world, everyone is into fitness and watching one's weight or just trying to stay fit and healthy is a given a lot of importance but you need to have a drink from time to time, right? So each of the mixers contains 86 calories per bottle - which of course, is lesser than the regular Coca-Cola that we consume. However, there is no news regarding diet versions of the mixers. That would really be a blessing, wouldn't it?
The mixers were apparently in the testing phase for around a year before they were finally perfected and launched into the market. The packaging of the mixers is very different from the regular Coca-Cola we get. The brand has decided to go back to the old ways by selling the mixers in a "contemporary Hutchinson glass bottle". According to Marketing Week, this is reminiscent of "1894, when the product was bottled rather than served at a soda fountain." Each of the mixers was developed by renowned bartenders from either London or Barcelona.
