'Facts Of Life' Stars Reunite For Lifetime's New Holiday Movie 'You Light Up My Christmas'

The upcoming holiday movie will be produced by none other than Kim Fields — who describes her former co-stars as her “sisters”.

Facts Of Life had everything you look forward to an 80s sitcom -- love, comedy, relationships, emotions, and whatnot. It was the show that most of us grew up watching and hey, it was also the first time the world took notice of a certain future global superstar in George Clooney.

However, the stars of the show were truly the women in the iconic sitcom - be it Kim Fields, Lisa Whelchel, Mindy Cohn, or Nancy McKeon. And now the legendary cast members of 'The Facts of Life' are reuniting for a Christmas movie and we are way too excited!

The holiday movie titled You Light Up My Christmas will be premiering Dec.1 on Lifetime network as part of the “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” programming.

And that's not all. The holiday movie will be produced by none other than Kim Fields — who describes her former co-stars as her “sisters”. She also claimed that it was her who got them all on board for the upcoming Christmas movie. Now all we can say is thank you, Kim!

“It’s been amazing to work together again and have the ladies’ input on their characters from their wardrobe to names, as well as provide fun inside jokes for fans,” Kim told PEOPLE.

“I also had the production name the ice-skating rink in the movie after our dear friend, Charlotte Rae, who passed away last year (and played Edna Garrett on both The Facts of Life and Diff’rent Strokes). We truly are a family so it was great to work together on something new!"

Now if you are wondering what the upcoming holiday movie is all about, Lifetime describes it: "Inspired by true events, Emma (Kim Fields) returns to her hometown built around her family's pioneer Christmas Light Factory two weeks before Christmas. However, upon Emma's return, she discovers the lights have gone dim in the once festive town, prompting her to reconnect with an old flame to set their hearts and the town ablaze with light again."

Lifetime Network had announced staggering 28-holiday movies just for us as part of “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” seasonal programming block. It will start from October 25 and run through the Christmas week with over 1,000 hours of holiday-themed programming.

And you will get to see a lot of familiar faces including Melissa Joan Hart, Kelly Rowland, Tia Mowry-Hardrict, Marie Osmond, George Stults, and Ted McGinley among other stars.
