Christmas might be less than 2 months away but hey, looks like our favorite holiday is coming sooner than we thought. And thanks to the Warner Bros Studio, 'Gilmore Girls' superfans can now visit the Stars Hollow set in Los Angeles, California this winter, and we can’t honestly keep calm!
Fans can now experience a studio tour where they can enjoy a holiday lunch in the fictional Connecticut town in real life. Mark your calendars, because it is only open for the public from 21 December until 5 January so you might want to plan accordingly.
And the best part? The tour is heavily focused around food and you can go around the streets of the fictional town and even head to Luke's Diner for a coffee, or check out Sookie's culinary creations and have Pop-Tarts at Lorelai and Rory's house. As reported by The Sun.
The Stars Hollow will also be decorated extensively keeping Christmas in mind and fans can check out some iconic exterior sets that will have many props and costumes from the show.
"The holiday season is the best time of year in Stars Hollow so we’re bringing Gilmore Girls holiday back!" Tickets for the Gilmore Girls Holiday are available via the studio's website and you can get them here.
"Exclusively for the holidays, fans of Gilmore Girls can explore the backlot as it transforms into Stars Hollow. Imagine lunching in Lorelai’s yard, peeking inside Luke’s Diner, and standing on Sookie’s front porch as you relive your favorite moments from the show. Enjoy a holiday-themed lunch filled with Lorelai’s favorites, and of course, Luke’s coffee available for purchase," reads the official description of the tour.
"Even though Sookie won’t be preparing them herself, Emily Gilmore surely would approve of these culinary treats! Pose with the actual Stars Hollow sign from the show as you enter the town."
"Pose for a picture in front of Luke’s Diner and reminisce about the many 'life-changing' coffee chats that were shared inside. Explore the town square and walk up the stairs of Stars Hollow High School just like Rory, Lane, and Dean. Take the Gilmore Girls Holiday experience home with you with exclusive merchandise," it concludes.
The tickets are priced at $69 for adults and $59 for children between the ages of 8 and 12, so it is honestly worth every penny. And what better way to ring in the holidays than have a Gilmore Girls Christmas.
