Hallmark Is Looking To Transform One Lucky Fan's House Into A Christmas Wonderland

Just days after Hallmark announced its complete lineup for Countdown to Christmas, you will now have a chance to transform your house into a Christmas wonderland.

Christmas may be a long time away but it is never too early to decorate your regular home and transform into a Christmas wonderland.

Yes, people might find it weird if you already bring out your Christmas trees, but hey, if you are feeling all festive, let nobody tell you what you can or can't do!

Just days after Hallmark announced its complete lineup, we now have another update that is sure to make you feel extra festive. Would you like your house to get a makeover and be turned into a Christmas wonderland just like how it is in your beloved Hallmark holiday movies?

Your dream could soon turn into a reality as Hallmark Channel is offering you the chance for the second time in a row. As reported by SouthernLiving.

This comes courtesy of their annual Holiday Home Decoration Sweepstakes, which will have our favorite network searching for that one lucky fan in the US whose home will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland.

Presented by Balsam Hill, you can be that lucky fan who will have to play an online game involving decorating virtual scenes with digital Christmas decorations. Each scene you decorate earns you a bonus into the Grand Prize Sweepstakes—this could go up to 10 a day!

Although the competition is going to be very close, at least 25 finalists will be chosen at random and which will be later narrowed down to 5 by the panel of judges. And then it is up to the public to choose to vote for the grand prize winner.

Since this is the second time, the previous lucky fans were the Jenkins family from Amite, Louisiana, who had won the competition. And thanks to DIY expert Ken Winged of Hallmark Channel’s Home and Family, the family's home was transformed within 3 days.

Meanwhile, in other news, Hallmark announced that it will air a record-breaking 40 Christmas movies this year -- 24 movies on the original channel while 16 of them will debut on Hallmark's sister network, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

It doesn't get any better than this considering we now have all the dates and schedule you need to kick off your perfect binge-watching session this year. The channel is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, so obviously we have got more movies lined up this year than ever before.

And as we expected earlier, Countdown to Christmas will kick off the plethora of movies starting, Friday, October 25 on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

And looking at the lineup, you will notice several familiar faces, including our favorites like Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, Rachael Leigh Cook, Jodie Sweetin, Erin Krakow, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Danica McKellar and of course Kristin Chenoweth in the marquee movie, Hallmark Hall of Fame's A Christmas Love Story.
