Kylie Jenner Just Launched Her 'Grinch'-Inspired Cosmetics In Time For Christmas

Looks like it's Kylie who is stealing Christmas this year!

Kylie Jenner is all about the Christmas vibes. She recently shared a photo of herself dressed in green from head to toe with her 200 million followers on Instagram. The 23-year-old business mogul had a green wig, a matching hat, and a strapless furry dress to promote her latest makeup collection that is inspired by the Grinch, as per Daily Mail. The image was shared with the caption: kylie stole christmas 💚 the GRINCH X KYLIE collection launches THIS THURSDAY 11.19 just in time for the holidays. Jenner looked very Christmassy in a green Latex Santa hat with a fur trim that matched her strapless dress as well as the furry walls behind her. 



 

 

Her makeup, too, complemented her outfit, especially her eye makeup, which was a strikingly similar shade to her entire outfit. Her lip shade was her signature style- nude. This revelation comes after Jenner posted a picture of herself in green, asking her followers to guess the theme of this year's collection. How the Grinch Stole Christmas! is a book originally written by Theodor 'Dr. Seuss' Geisel and was released in 1957.



 

 

In 1966, the book was turned into an animated movie by Chuck Jones with voices from Boris Karloff and June Foray. In 2000, we saw Jim Carrey star in a live-action version from director Ron Howard. Benedict Cumberbatch and Rashida Jones came together in 2018 for another animated version which was titled Dr. Seuss' The Grinch. Kylie's cosmetic brand is one of the most popular items in the world of makeup. During an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Jenner was asked if she ever envisioned this kind of success that she's enjoyed with Kylie Cosmetics when she initially started it. 



 

 

“I didn’t think it was possible,” she says, wrapped in a fluffy pink robe as she gets her makeup and wig removed while her entourage waits nearby for it to all be over. “I didn’t think that this could really be my job. I always loved makeup, though. I wanted to watch tutorials. I would play with my own makeup or my mom’s. I’ve always loved makeup, and I was obsessed with lipstick.” Also, it helps to have a highly talented Momager like Kris Jenner. “Kylie does all of the creative stuff—she’s the CEO, CMO, CCO,” Kris Jenner said. “She’s been so amazing, the way she has grown this company. I’m like the COO."



 

 

"I help keep everything running behind the scenes. But she had this vision when she was 15, and it’s been remarkable to watch it come to life, to step back and see it evolve.” Then, she was asked about the kind of power she wielded. “Probably more when I was on the red carpet with Kim,” she says. “I always knew my family was a big deal, but me, solo, probably around when my pop-ups started. Or when I started dyeing my hair blue and cut my hair off, and then everyone started dyeing their hair blue and cutting it off. And I was like, ‘Whoa.’ I realized what an influence I had. I was probably like 16.” Now you know what it takes to run a huge business.
