Bublé also released an adorable animated music video along with the holiday track and it'll absolutely get you into a jolly mood.
While some of us are putting off taking down our Halloween decorations, Michael Bublé has caught an early train to Christmas and he's inviting everyone to hop on board. The King of Christmas melodies welcomed the start of November—aka the soft opening of the holiday season—with a brand new take on the iconic White Christmas song and, I must say, it's doing a pretty great job of getting me in a jolly mood. While the groovy tune alone will have you whipping up some eggnog in no time, Bublé also released an adorable animated music video along with the holiday track.
Some might say that the music video captioned "Christmas isn’t Christmas without Michael Bublé," isn't exactly what you'd call a new song. Bublé himself released a White Christmas duet with Shania Twain last year and it had all kinds of old-school vibes and had us all dreaming of a white snowy Christmas. However, the stop-motion music video of the latest version is just absolute gold. It features a miniature Bublé dancing around in the snow guitar-playing snow woman and takes viewers through Santa's workshop where tiny elves are seen packing up gifts.
Speaking to Smooth Radio, the director of the video, Lior Molcho said, "Every single item had to be made by hand, the trees, the snow, the snow woman, the presents - all were hand sculpted and fabricated by our team of artists. Working with Michael was a blast, we had immediate feedback and were in constant touch as we created his and his family's puppets. We also made sure to include many ‘Easter eggs’ for the fans, look closely at the present!"
White Christmas is a song very close to the singer's heart as he's previously revealed that his family plays the original version of the song all year round. "I have worshipped Bing Crosby since I was six years old. My family plays Bing's 'White Christmas' all year round. It's really an honor to sing this beautiful song with him," he said. The singer has definitely portrayed how significant the song is to his family, ending the music video with a scene featuring his beloved family. The celeb's children Noah, Elias, and Vida are seen tucked up in bed as Bublé and wife Luisana watch on lovingly. Go on, give the video a watch right now and trust me when I say, you're going to have it on loop until the end of the season.
