The classic family game now has its longest-ever version for just $30 and it includes 66 properties instead of the usual 28 and 40 spaces.
Monopoly has now come up with the best Christmas gift for its fans by releasing its longest version of the game. The newly-released game comes with 66 properties, 40 spaces and a singular die involved. In the traditional format of the game, there are 28 properties which arguably still takes a number of hours and family breakdowns to complete, but it has been trumped by this latest product.
“Monopoly just released a ‘Longest Game Ever’ edition, where the only way to win is to buy all 66 properties in the game. So if you didn’t get into a fight with your family on Thanksgiving, this oughta do it!” #FallonMono #FallonTonight— Fallon Tonight (@FallonTonight) November 29, 2019
The advertisement of the latest version of the game reads, "Think the original Monopoly game takes forever to play? It's got nothing over this edition. Even bankruptcy won't get a player out of this Monopoly game. The game doesn't end until someone owns every single property - and there are three versions of each in this board game."

If you want to get the latest version of the game, it is available exclusively on Amazon. So you'll need to get it shipped before it goes out of stock. The game has received mixed reactions from the people online where some people have said that they couldn't wait to try it and others saying it is too long to finish. Um, isn't that the point?

One reviewer wrote, "A six-hour game with my 12-year-old niece is enough thanks! Even then if it's not finished we add up everything we have to see who wins."
Another one added, saying, "I can't play with people who get mad at a game. This would be fun, but I would probably take the day off work." A third one quipped in, saying, "I have almost every other version so you know what I'll be asking Santa for Christmas this year."

Over the years, Monopoly has created a number of spin-offs with everything from Ms. Monopoly to Monopoly for Millennials that have kept us going for hours.
According to professional players, the original game shouldn't take more than two hours if you follow all of the rules. But most of the players learn from their parents or friends, and let's be real, most of us never really bothered to read through all the instructions.
