With Halloween just a week away, we are looking out for every horror movie that will get us into the spooky spirit. If you are a horror buff like me, there are plenty of creepy movies that might give you nightmares for weeks.

Netflix has released quite a few of them this month with Halloween just around the corner. And one of the many scary movies that the streaming giant has released ...is Eli.

If you haven't watched it yet, thank your lucky stars because many viewers are saying it is already one of the scariest movies they have seen this year. And that's not all.

Starring Stranger Things star Sadie Sink along with Kelly Reilly, Charlie Shotwell, Lili Taylor, and Max Martini, this horror movie has everything you need to get spooked this Halloween season.

The movie which arrived on Netflix on Friday, October 18, focuses on a young boy Eli, who is suffering from an auto-immune disorder. Following this, he is kept away from the outside world where he ends up in a protective plastic suit.

And this is when he starts to interact with others psychically, he starts to have supernatural hallucinations due to all the mysterious experiments conducted on him.

The twist ending in the movie has completely divided viewers with some being absolutely shocked, while others couldn't believe it happened. (Don't worry we won't reveal the twist ending.)

According to Independent, some Netflix viewers have found the movie extremely scary. In fact, a viewer who watched Eli took to Twitter and wrote: "I just watched Eli on Netflix and I SWEAR I'm seeing demons out of the corner of my eyes HELP."

Another added:  "Netflix’s #Eli is absolutely bonkers. It starts off as your stereotypical bubble boy meets a haunted house with evil spirits thrown in. But the writers must have done HELLA drugs towards the end of writing the script because the last 20 minutes are a rollercoaster of batshit insanity!"
