We all miss decorating Christmas trees, watching classic holiday movies and eating our favorite meal with loved ones. Why can't December come any sooner?
We are still 71 days away from Christmas but don't let that stop you from feeling festive. With Christmas just 2 months away, we have already started to do everything that makes us feel like its the holiday season.

Be it watching your favorite Hallmark movie or buying Christmas decor to adorn our room, we all have our ways to feel Christmassy. If you think it's just you, sorry but people have already started putting up Christmas trees and it's actually just October!
I'm in my room about to order my cap & gown when I hear a cheerful 'YAY'! I go to investigate and find my mother in her office, lighting up the christmas tree. 😅 pic.twitter.com/TArhXJ5o9g— Koreo 🍪 (@K0REO) October 6, 2019
Well, not just people but many supermarkets and global retail chains like Walmart and Target have also started selling Christmas decor and interestingly, they're already running out of stock! Talk about the love for Christmas!
And now, people have not only started putting up Christmas trees in October but they are also proudly it showing it on social media, making us want to get started on it already! As reported by Vt.co.
Don't worry it is perfectly normal to start celebrating Christmas even if you are months away. In fact, science also agrees that people who put up Christmas decor early are actually happier.
Steve McKeown, a psychoanalyst, founder of MindFixers and the owner of The McKeown Clinic, said: "In a world full of stress and anxiety people like to associate to things that make them happy and Christmas decorations evoke those strong feelings of the childhood."

"Although there could be a number of symptomatic reasons why someone would want to obsessively put up decorations early, most commonly for nostalgic reasons either to relive the magic or to compensate for past neglect. Decorations are simply an anchor or pathway to those old childhood magical emotions of excitement. So putting up those Christmas decorations early extend the excitement!" he added.
Now we understand how tedious setting up and maintaining a Christmas tree can be -- there are needles everywhere, daily waterings, your little kid could mess up all your decoration -- it is not a small undertaking.

But hey, just the fact that we get to put it up and decorate our Christmas trees somehow makes us feel good and happy. Have you started putting up Christmas trees in your home? Let us know!
