A 'Nightmare Before Christmas' Festival Is Happening This Holiday Season

The festival based on Tim Burton's classic will be happening in Austin, Texas and is only for adults. It will also feature a lot of themed cocktails in order to get us in the spirit of the season.

More often than not, we rarely find a movie that is absolutely suitable for all of your favorite holidays. Luckily for us, director Tim Burton's movie 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' is there and it is truly the type of move that gets us into the festive spirit.

With Christmas around the corner, Texas is bringing the movie to life by hosting 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' fest and it is going to have everything in order to get you in the holiday spirit.

On December 20, fans of this beloved movie can head over to the Elysium night club in Austin, Texas where they can sing along to "What's This?" and sip on cocktails all night at this season's special Gothic Ball and Bazaar. But this event is only for adults which will include many activities such as special photo opportunities and sing-alongs.

The fest is an adults-only affair and that will start from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. and since the party is for adults only, you have to leave your kids at home. Even though Halloween is over, this Texas fest in Austin is going to have everything you need to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Guests are encouraged to dress up like the characters in the movie and this gives the Halloween lovers one more chance to dress up and bring out their Oogie boogie and Sally costumes and can snap a picture in the photo booth.

While the attendees will be busy enjoying the party, 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' will be playing in the background as hosts run sing-alongs and actors perform scenes for each song. The fest will also be serving themed drinks, like a Jack cocktail and it is made out of coffee liquor and chocolate vodka, and a Sally cocktail and it is also made up of ingredients like coconut rum, raspberry vodka, and fruit juice.

Apart from that, you can also choose some spooky-named drinks that are named like Worm's Wort, Deadly Nightshade, Frog's Breath, and Sandy Claws. But the hosts have promised that the drinks are much more appealing than the names and with additions like melon liquor, blackberry and sage champagne, peach, and even cinnamon-flavored whiskey in the mix, who can say no!

You can check out more details here. Ticket prices range from $10 - $13. Will you be going? Let us know!
