It has been said for a long, long time that the way to someone's heart is through their stomach and that is what Olive Garden is doing.
The season of love is approaching fast and lovers and partners are looking for a way to surprise their better half in the most offbeat way they can. It has been said for a long, long time that the way to someone's heart is through their stomach and that is what Olive Garden is doing. The company recently announced that they will be bringing back the breadstick bouquets as part of Valentine's Day promotion once again. The last time they did so was in 2019, and it was a success online. This time they will be offering it at their outlets and online beginning February 13.
From February 13, the special dinner of Olive Garden's ToGo Dinner for Two includes a breadstick bouquet and a chocolate mint boxes. The three-course dinner is priced at $34.99. Patrons can enjoy a delicious spread ranging from starters, main course and dessert. The options include are a choice of salad or soup, dipping sauces (Five Cheese Marinara or Alfredo), a shareable entree namely the Five Cheese Ziti al Forno or Chicken Alfredo, and for dessert, one can opt for the Black Tie Mousse Cake or Tiramisu.
A survey by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics indicates that Americans are most likely to set a record with their spending during Valentine's Day, reported Fox Business. In addition to the absolutely romantic bouquet breadsticks, couples can also go for the special after-dinner mint box that has a love poem written for your significant other. The poem reads, "Roses are red, Violets are blue, Here’s a box of mints, I made just for you."
NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay said, "Valentine’s Day is a sentimental tradition, but gift-giving can be driven by the economy. Consumers spent freely during the 2019 winter holidays and they appear ready to do the same in the new year." In 2019, Olive Garden organized a special wedding for Samantha Roberts and Jeff Gilleland and it took the internet by storm. The food was catered entirely by Olive Garden classics. It also had a late-night breadstick bar that included marinara and Alfredo dipping sauces. The wedding reception was made more special after Olive Garden gifted each guest with a Never Ending Pasta Pass. This pass lets the customers eat as much as they want at any Olive Garden for nine straight weeks.
You can also download the DIY breadstick bouquet wrappers in case you are planning for an early celebration. Another added bonus, since the Olive Garden meal, is a go-to one, you won't have to worry about making a reservation or fight the crowd in an always-busy Valentine's Day.
