An exhibit at the Atelier des Lumières allows visitors to walk into light up projections of Van Gogh's artwork.
Vincent Van Gogh’s dreamy, liquid artwork has captured the imagination of generations of art fans from around the world. But what if you could walk through his paintings? Imagine being transported into Van Gogh’s kaleidoscope world of color and emotion? Well, the Carrières de Lumières, an art center which is located northwest of Marseille in Les Baux-de-Provence, created an exhibition that takes viewers through the life and work of Van Gogh.
The exhibition is designed to create massive projections on the 50-foot concrete walls of the gallery’s 75,000 square feet.
If you can get out to the Marseilles area, the exhibit will run to January 2020.
