Bagans said he bought the Ted Bundy items so that people get to learn about "monsters that walk among us."
Ted Bundy was one of the most dangerous serial killers in American history. Bundy was caught for the first time while he was driving. While he did try his best to run away, the police did finally catch up to him and that's when they found a lot of suspicious items and it included of a crowbar, large green plastic bags, ice pick, a pair of gloves, a ski mask, a pair of handcuffs, a coil of rope, and a mask that he made out of pantyhose.
Apart from that, the police also noticed that the passenger seat has been removed and it was placed on the backseat of the car. Needless to say, the police, in the beginning, didn't suspect him being a murderer since there had been a similar chain of events.
It happened only after the officer noticed that there is a lot of similarities with the ID of a serial killer who committed multiple murders throughout the states of America.
A lot of his belongings had to be kept as a piece of evidence and even his car was kept in DC’s crime museum, but it was also shut down in 2015. The serial killer's car will be on display at Alcatraz East, which is a museum that opened in 2016.
Now, it has been reported by TMZ that the car owned by Ted Bundy has recently gone up for sale and it is owned by none other than Zak Bagans. The co-founder of 'Ghost Adventures' said that he has bought quite a few memorabilia, that was previously owned by Ted Bundy, from a detective who worked on the case of the murderer and his most 'valued' items were murder kit, ski-mask, and a red-handled ice pick.
Some other items that are owned by Bagans are 2 mismatched gloves, a flashlight, orange wire, large garbage bags, a white rope, and pieces of bedsheet that he used to tie his victims.
The other items that were seized by the police were in the detective Jerry Thompson's possession until they were bought by Bagans' wife.
Bagans also mentioned that Bundy's infamous murder ski-mask is full of violent and terrifying energy. Keeping the ski-mask aside, his murder kit is pretty scary in itself, and Zak mentioned that he also owns Bundy's trial papers, photos, audiotapes, and samples of evidence that confirmed Bundy was the murderer.
All these items are currently being moved to his Haunted Museum in Vegas and every item will be on display for the first time.
As it was already reported by TMZ, Bagans had already dropped $50,000 on Ted Bundy's glasses that he used to wear while trying to evade the authorities. The reason stated by Bagans, when asked why he bought the items was that people get to learn about "monsters that walk among us."
