The 2009 movie was a massive hit worldwide and 'slashed' the Box Office records with a whopping earning of more than $102.5 million and gained itself a huge fan following. Revolving around a zombie outbreak due to the spread of 'mad cow' disease which affected almost everyone except a handful of people, namely, Tallahassee, Columbus, Witchita, and Little Rock because they followed the 'surviving rules' and well, turns out, they are still alive after all this while and are returning to the big screen!

Zombieland: Double Tap, a sequel to the first post-apocalyptic-zombie outbreak movie, directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and David Callaham is all set to release later this year around Halloween. The movie initially set to release on 11th of October has suffered a date change and moved for a release after a week on 18th. While the reason is unknown, had the movie released on 11th, it would have had a head-on with The Addams Family animated.

Also, while we're at it, where is the trailer? It is about time!

"We had written an alternate scene with no celebrity, where they just fought a bunch of zombies in this mansion. Paul, to his great credit, doesn't like to take no for an answer, walked up to Woody Harrelson on the set and said Woody, anyone else, do you have any other ideas? He said two guys. He said Dustin Hoffman and Bill Murray, and we were like yes, and yes. But Dustin Hoffman couldn't do it, but Bill Murray said send me the script...it was Woody Harrelson that called him, his buddy," Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick revealed how they got Bill Murray to agree for the cameo. Let's hope they get him on board once again. Will you be watching Zombieland Double Tap?
