Impressive Darian Gold Figural Pectoral Pendant - Pre Columbian Pendant Colombia

 Heavy cast gold pectoral depicting a standing anthropomorphic figure holding a large quadruple spiral shield in front of his face, and wearing two mushroom cap type elements on top of his head and wearing two quadruple side headdress elements. Large suspension loop on the reverse of his head. Intact, exc. cond. An impressive example.

Age: Ca. 500-1000 A.D. Weight and Size: 4-1/8”L. x 2-3/8”W., 128 gms. Piece is 78% gold with tbe rest being silver and copper.
