Stunning 19.64 carat Cat's-Eye Alexandrite, Diamond, White Gold Ring GIA RARE!

The combination of alexandrite color change and cat’s-eye chatoyancy in the same natural gemstone is exceptionally rare. GIA specifically notes that cat’s-eye alexandrite displaying both phenomena is extremely rare, while most fashioned alexandrites weigh less than one carat. At 19.64 carats, this is therefore an unusually substantial example of an already scarce phenomenal gemstone.  

The round cabochon is surrounded by a beautiful halo of approximately 1.60 total carats of full-cut natural diamonds, estimated at G–I color and SI clarity, creating a brilliant contrast with the unusual green alexandrite. The setting is crafted in substantial 18K white gold. Ring weight 11.30 grams.

The stone has a particularly beautiful appearance in person, with its soft green body color, translucency and luminous quality complemented by a distinct moving eye. Its appearance changes noticeably according to the direction and type of illumination—one of the fascinating characteristics of phenomenal chrysoberyl.
